Explore the Area

Our region of incomparable beauty, on the famous Garden Route and idyllically situated between the Outeniqua mountains and golden unspoiled beaches, our romantic seaside village: Wilderness.

A lifestyle destination for all seasons, nature at its best, an eco-tourist's paradise with a chain of tranquil lakes, surrounding forests and 18 kilometres of coastline, protected within a 2612-hectares National Park.

It’s between the Kaaimans River in the West, the Goukamma Nature Reserve in the east, bordered by the Outeniqua Mountains in the north, the Indian Ocean in the south. The long stretch of beach embraces the mouths of the Touw and Kaaimans Rivers, and is backed by northward cliffs over which the fringe of the forest reaches down to sea level.
